RED BRANCH KENNELS

Please call me for information on my 2020 litters!  Pups expected late summer and early winter.  Please contact me at 715-499-4008 or sharon@redbranchkennels.net

My pups are often reserved well before they are born, and rarely ever listed here because of that.  If you're interested in getting on the reservation list, please give me a call and I can email you information...pics, pedigrees, etc.

If you have emailed me and haven't received a response, please call.

If you're interested in a puppy, send me an email at sharon@redbranchkennels.net , introduce yourself and tell me just a little about yourself and your needs.  If I get a one line email with no name attached saying "how much for a puppy" I'm not going to respond because you don't sound very serious.  Try saying "Hi, my name is______ and I like to hunt/am looking for a family dog/pet/etc., and am interested in getting a Chesapeake puppy because....." I'll gladly respond and we can talk further.

Pups will be current on vaccinations and deworming and come with a 26 month written guarantee on hips and eyes.  As per veterinary recommendation I am no longer removing front dewclaws.

All pups start out with AKC limited registration, which can be lifted and changed to full once the dog reaches two years of age and you've done the same health clearances any good breeder would do, as required in my contract.  What is limited registration?  Your dog is a registered AKC dog, and can compete in hunt tests, field trials, or any other performance event.  They can't be shown in conformation or be bred until they turn two and have their clearances.  This is to make sure that dogs coming from my kennels and lines are bred responsibly and good health maintained via having hips, elbows and eyes done, plus the appropriate genetic testing.  Limited doesn't mean poor quality...it means I care enough about my dogs to want to make sure they go to homes where they will not be bred without proper testing.  If you want to show your puppy, let's talk and we can find a way to work on full registration.

A  deposit is required to reserve a pup and the balance is due when the pup leaves for its new home.  Contact me for a puppy reservation form for the litter you're interested in.  sharon@redbranchkennels.net

If you can't pick up your puppy in person, I strongly recommend ground transport.  Another option is flying in and taking your new puppy back with you, in a soft sided carrier under the seat.
